Our shea butter is expeller pressed, refined, and naturally deodorized, and lacks the distinct odor of the unrefined butter. For a real treat, combine the refined and unrefined Shea butters to get all of the moisturizing benefits of both with a more subtle and muted odor.

Shea butter has been used for centuries in Africa for its skin-supporting properties, where it has been used to hydrate skin which has been exposed to extreme elements. Shea butter contains vitamins A and E as well as essential fatty acids and other vitamins and minerals. Due to its emollient nature it is a perfect ingredient to include in your body care recipes and skin care regime. It is also wonderful to use in the summer as a moisturizer before and after sun exposure to promote radiant skin in extreme conditions.

Note: The texture/appearance of this butter may be altered due to temperature changes, while in transit or during processing. This does not affect the quality of the butter. It may be warmed, mixed, and quickly cooled to resolidify into a smoother consistency.
